Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Monday, March 16, 2009, Pauline Eliza Bennett of Caplin Cove, aged 62 years. Predeceased by parents Ralph and Florence Peddle and brother Alex Peddle. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Eldon; daughter Tammy Bennett of Ontario; son Phillip Whalen, Alberta; step-daughters Norma Tucker (Wayne), Caplin Cove; Karen Lambert, Calgary, AB; Katherine McNea, Mississauga, ON and Wendy Spurrell (Jeffery), Paradise; step-sons Mike Whalen (Tracy Avery) and Jim Whalen (Lillian), both of Caplin Cove; sisters Cynthia (Late Reginald Peddle), Evelyn (Cyril Dodge), Anne (Randy Newberry), Alice (Cecil Jacobs) and Myrtice (Herb Spurrell); brothers Jack Peddle (Irene), Silas Peddle (Lillian), Bruce Peddle (Cathy) and Kevin Peddle (Dorothy); sister-in-law Ann Peddle; a large number of step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Heart’s Ease. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 from the Anglican Church, Hodge’s Cove with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Caplin Cove. In her memory, flowers gratefully accepted.
