The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, of Sarah Clara “Sadie” Watson (nee Arsenault) of Margate and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 80 years. Sadie was born on Oct. 15, 1928, in Middleton, P.E.I., to her late parents, Joseph and Clara Mae (nee Lewis) Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Garnet Watson. Survived by her brothers and sisters: Rita (Clifford) Martin of Summerside, Leonard (Lois) Arsenault of Summerside, Homer (Myrtle) Arsenault of Niagara Falls, Ont., Doris Arsenault of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Edna Warren of Chelton, P.E.I. Besides her husband and her parents, Sadie was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Watson. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, March 21, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Sadie’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
