It is with great sadness that the family of John Michael Pelley announce his passing on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Sea, in his 41st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lori (nee Chynn); his mother and step-father Daphne (Ernest) Dureke of Corner Brook; his brother James Pelley (Arlene), Deer Lake; his nephew Michael Pelley, Deer Lake; his mother and father-in-law Regina and George Chynn, Deer Lake and his two cats Manny and Belley; his uncles and aunts: Albert (Cynthia) Lodge, Deer Lake, Gerald (Ruby) Lodge, Howley, Wayne (Phyllis) Lodge, Deer Lake, Jackie Young (Robert), Deer Lake, Carter (Lois) Pelley, St. John’s and Susan (Kent) Watts, Victoria, B.C. His special family members: Mrs. Agnes Janes, Caroline Allan, Lorraine Janes, Tammy (Gavin) and Regan (Godchild) Cunningham, Jillian, Trevor, Isabelle, Juliette Lush and Jim Janes. John was predeceased by his father Johnson Pelley, his grandparents Violet and Adolphus Lodge and Patience and Elijah Pelley and his aunt Judy Lodge. Also leaving to mourn a large number of other relatives, special friends and his extended families. The family will be receiving family and friends from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009 from Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church, Deer Lake with Father Aidan Devine officiating with cremation to follow.
