Passed peacefully away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta, in the presence of her loving and devoted family on Sunday, August 24, 2008, Norma Mildred Bursey, formerly of Bell Island, Newfoundland, in her 62nd year. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Mildred Bursey and brother Donald Bursey. Leaving to mourn with loving memories children James Metcalfe (Sabrina), Laurie Ann Metcalfe (Bob Torrance), Christy Metcalfe (Wayne Kirkland), and their father Edward Metcalfe; grandchildren James and Olivia Metcalfe, Emily and Samantha Torrance; sister Carol Piercey (Graham); brothers James Bursey (Noelle), Lloyd Bursey (Violet); sister-in-law Jennie Bursey and a large circle of family and friends. Special thank you to the Drs. and Nurses at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary. Cremation and Private Family Service has taken place. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in St. John's, NL. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.
