Gone to join his Mom and Dad as he started life. Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, March 18th, 2009 at his home, after a lengthy illness in the presence of his loving wife, children, grandchildren and family, William Francis Butt, age 57 years. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Emma (2003), brother Keith (1994), his father-in-law Douglas (2002) and his mother-in-law Daphne Crummell (1995). Leaving to mourn and cherish his memory are his devoted and caring wife of 37 years, Brenda, his children: Darlene (Wally) and Darryl (Sonya), his pride and joy grandchildren Katie and Bradley who gave him the will to live; brothers: Walter (Don), Randy (Holly), Brian (June), Kurt (Tammy) and sister Karen (Keith); brothers-in-law: Bruce (Wenda), Boyd (Cheryl); sisters-in-law: Bev, Barb (Bob), Bonnie (John) and Blair (Sterling); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbours and back yard shed buddies. He was a long time employee of Charles R. Bell and Detroit Diesel. A special thank you to the Doctors and staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre.
