Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Home in the presence of her loving family, Ellen Mary (Nellie) nee Miron (July 7, 1918 - March 18, 2009), formerly from Lime Street, last and oldest member of the Miron family. Predeceased by her husband, Peter 1982, parents Jim and Sarah Miron (nee Walsh), sisters Stella and Margaret and brothers Walter, Ted and Tom. Left with fond and loving memories her children: three daughters Stella, Sue (Reg) and Mary (Andre); and five boys: Jim (Ruby), Wally (Evelyn), Ed (Jean), Peter (Maureen) and Michael; Nan will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Ashley, Darlene, Tammy (Mike), Tracy, Todd, Renee (Ryan), Stephanie (Andy), Jill (Rod), Craig, Julie (Gus), Ian, Amanda, Andrea, Matthew, Glen, Bradley and Andrea; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Molly, Kristen, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Lorisa, Ethan, Sarah (Anthony), Cody, Kevin, Zachary, Katie and Michael; great-great-granddaughter Faith; life long friend Marg Collins and a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff of West 2 Hoyles Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
