Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Home on March 17, 2009, Ethel V. Evans (nee Bourne), in her 97th year, wife of the late Clarence G. Evans. With thankfulness for a life well lived, she is survived by son John (Margot); three special grandchildren: Bruce (Wanda), Howard (Deborah) and Nancy Beth Foran (James). Proud great-grandmother of Abigail Evans, Moira, Parker and Bridget Evans and Allison and Stephanie Foran. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visiting hours Thursday, March 19., 7-9 p.m. and Friday, March 20th, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, March 21st at 11 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gower Street United Church Restoration Fund.
