Passed suddenly, but peacefully away at home on Thursday, March 19, 2009 after a long and productive life, in his 87th year. Predeceased by son Thomas (1998), sister Margaret Long and brothers Thomas and Patrick. Survived by his wife Ethel (Gosse), son Bill (Rebekah), daughters Kathleen (Ross Klein) and Anne Marie (Richard Rex); grandchildren: James, Patrick and Lydia Halley and Maxwell, Eric and Simon Rex; brother Bill, Cornwall, Ontario; sisters: Irene (John) Collins and Mary Thompson; brother-in-law Bernard Long, California; sister-in-law Joan Halley, Edmonton. Also leaving to mourn many other relatives and close friends. Waking at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 23rd at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
