We wish to announce the passing of a wonderful gentleman, Frank Quirk, aged 83 of St. John’s who passed away on March 18, 2009 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by wife Rita (1990), daughter Paulette (Marnell) (1992), and wife Mary (2007). Remembering him forever with love are his children: Ann Marie and Jim Clarke, Patsy and Will Durdle, Rita and Phil Stead, Bob Marnell, Ginny and Gerry Soulliere, Paul and Jean Quirk, Derrick and Madonna Quirk, Gerard and Joanne Quirk, Frank and Debbie Quirk; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Genevieve and Harold Pollard; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his extended family Wendy and Trevor Andres, Bruce and Robbi Gellately, Mary and Darrell Clarke, Heather and Jim Hopkins. He will be missed greatly by his many friends from the BIS and the “crowd at Mahers.” Special thanks to his granddaughter Anne Marie Clarke for her expert and loving care, to Dr. Berman for his help and guidance and to Dr. Amanda Hogg and all of the staff at St. Clare’s for their kindness.
