Passed away suddenly at his home in Calgary, Alberta, March 17, 2009, Carl Francis Nolan in his 43rd year, formerly from Bell Island and Kelligrews. Predeceased by his father Peter F. Nolan 1991, his brother Peter R. Nolan 2008 and nephew Wade Nolan 1984. Leaving to mourn his three children: Nicole (Jeff) Halifax, NS, Ryan (Stephanie) and Michael at Calgary and their mother Renee Fowler, CBS, NL, also his long time companion Brenda Ortmann, Calgary; his mother Myrtle Nolan, CBS, NL; seven sisters: Roslyn Fitzgerald (Francis), Bell Island, Brenda Reid, Oshawa, ON, Diane Patey (Rodger) St. Anthony, NL, Sharon Vansickle (Robert) Virginia, Gertrude Scott (Gordon) CBS, Jacqueline Nolan (Philip) Calgary, Janice Baird (Robert), CBS, as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Edward's Parish, Kelligrews, Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Edward's Cemetery, Kelligrews. Donations in his memory may be made to the Newfoundland Lung Association or a charity of one's choice.
