At MacMillan Lodge on Friday, March 20, 2009, of Albert Phillips of Charlottetown and formerly of Newmarket, Ontario, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Shirley Phillips (nee Arsenault) and loving father of David (Kim) and Robert. Albert is also survived by his grandchildren: Allisha, Matthew and Marissa Phillips, brother Harold Phillips (Doreen) and sisters Anita Paquet (Elmer), Edith Jean Jordan, Libby Hughes (Dennis) and Linda Stavert (Bill). He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Doris Phillips (nee Stanley). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Monday, March 23, 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Fred Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Sherwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
