At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Sunday, March 22, 2009, of Merrill \"Eli\" Blaine Scott of Montague and formerly of Grandview, age 65 years. Husband of Lodi (nee Rientjes). Father of Opal and Doran. Brother of Norma (Allie) Murray and brother-in-law of Samone Scott. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Eric and Catherine (nee Gillis) Scott and his brother Ivan. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment later in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Vernon.
