Mr. Melvin Bathgate of Moose Jaw, and formerly of Tugaske, passed away on Saturday March 21, 2009 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents, Leland and Bertha Bathgate, and his brother Lyle, Mel is survived by his wife Ruth; three sons: Richard (Lorelei), Barry (Karen), and Alan; four grandchildren, Leland, Leah, Chelsea, and Ryan; and one great-grandchild Tyler. In keeping with Mel’s wishes, Cremation will take place with Memorialization to follow at Sunset Cemetery at a later date. A private family service will be held. Memorials to Providence Place, Alzheimer’s Ward, 100 2nd Ave. N.E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1B8, would be appreciated. In living memory of Mel, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
