Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on August 30th, 2008, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents Harvey and Emily Chipman (Baker), sister Winnie, step-granddaughter Allison Penney, sister-in-law Jessie Chipman. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughter Cheryl (Ken) Penton of Grand Falls-Windsor, brother Harvey Jr. of Harbour Grace. Grandchildren Adam and Kendra, girlfriend Sonya and stepdaughter Renee Pittman of Ontario. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service Tuesday, September 2nd at 2 p.m. from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Inurnment to follow Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the Anglican Cemetery, Spaniard's Bay. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, NL Division, The Shriners Children's Hospital, or St. Martin's Cathedral Memorial Fund.
