Passed peacefully away after a short illness at the St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, Evelyn Dawe, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Eric (1969). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons: Geoff (Donna) and Gerald (Bev); grandchildren: Allison Kirkland (Mike), Angela Hull (Trevor), Renee Pelley (Trent), Heather Dawe (Blair Tobin) and Andrew Dawe (Stephanie Woods); great-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Madison, Meagan, Aiden and Daniel; devoted sister and best friend Margaret Parsons; special nephew Eric Parsons (Gladys Burke) as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from St. Michael and All Angels Church on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
