Passed peacefully away with family on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Chancellor Park. Forever loved and missed by his wife Natalie (Shea) of Saint John, New Brunswick; children: Stephen (Carol), Kevin (Janet), Natalie and Michael (Michelle); grandchildren: Jake, Luke, Josh, Claire, Jillian and George; numerous nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his son George William Battcock, parents Jenny (Reddy) and Stephen J. Battcock of St. Mary's, brother Jerome (Anne), sisters Eleanor Winter (Nick), Mary Henley (Pat) and Imelda McDonald (Tom). Special thanks to the physicians and staff of Chancellor Park, St. Patrick's Mercy Home and the emergency and cardiac care staff of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, March 28 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, March 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Pius X Church on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
