Suddenly at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, March 27, 2009, of Darryl Louis Bernard of Lennox Island aged 38, common law spouse of Cyndie Smith. Born in Summerside on July 1, 1970, son of the late David and Dorothy (Sark) Bernard. Father of Kayla, Darryl Lynn, Justin, and Sarah. Dear brother of Keptin John Joe Sark (Eileen), Johnstons River, Catherine Fry (Dave), Florida, James (Sharon), Lennox Island, Reggie (Sheila), Rocky Point, Peter (Christine), Susan Bernard, Elaine Rayner, Frederick, Cyrus (Patricia), Judith Praught (Dennis), Chief Darlene Bernard (Don) all of Lennox Island, Jean Bernard, Florida, Joan Bernard, Halifax, Philip (Mary), Janet Banks (Cecil), Lennox Island, Julie Lush (Rick), Charlottetown. Brother-in-law of Bobbi-Jo Smith, Charlottetown. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister, Margaret. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 10 a.m. then to St. Ann’s Church, Lennox Island, for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Parish cemetery.
