Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, after a short illness at the HSC, Mike Condon, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his loving wife, Theresa Condon (nee Dooling); parents: Irene and Dan Condon; brother, Eugene; sisters: Mary O'Keefe and Kathleen Mulcahy. Leaving to mourn brother, Herb Condon (Mary); eight daughters: Ann Making (Tom), Carol Mahoney (Kev), Maureen King (Frank), Brenda Hawkins (Dave), Mary Ford (Gerry), Blanche Samms (Gary), Michelle Fitzgerald (Des), and Claudine Hagerty (Greg); two sons: Larry (Juanita) and Leonard (Maureen); twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends. Long-time employee of Newfoundland Light and Power Company and member of the Trail Blazers Club. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial from Immaculate Conception RC Church, Cape Broyle, on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape RC Cemetery, Cape Broyle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to the Parkinsons Society or to the charity of one's choice.
