The death occurred peacefully with friends at her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, March 29, 2009, of Dorothy “Lucky” Peters, wife of the late Clarence Peters, of Charlottetown and formerly of North Rustico, age 80 years. Dorothy leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ella May Gallant, Irene Gallant, Helen Doiron, Raymond Peters (Betty), Arnold Peters (Kris), Eleanor Blacquiere, Margaret Gauthier (Francis), Eunice Gillis (John), Estelle Doiron, Rose Marie Peters and Auspice Gauthier; and special friends, Noel and Genny Gallant and Sharon Noble; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Clarence, she was predeceased by her parents, William and Alice Rollinson; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Elmer Peters (Gertie), Almon Peters, Reginald Peters, Junior Peters, Rita Gauthier, Clarice Buote (Ernest), Alphonse Gallant, Leo Gallant, Edward Doiron and Ferdie Blacquiere. The funeral will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 4 p.m. There will be visitation from 2-4 p.m. Interment in St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Hope River.
