Eileen Keating
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eileen Keating of Mt. Arlington Heights, Long Harbour, born on May 27, 1934 and died on September 3, 2008, surrounded by her caring and loving family and friends. Eileen was a companion, sister, aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt and friend. Predeceased by her loving parents Bridget and Maurice Keating, brother Pad Keating, brother-in-law Cecil Greene, in- laws Maria and James Nolan, John and Bertha Nolan, Mike and James Nolan, Mary Jane and Dennis Keating and Henry Murphy; also her friend and step-grandmother Rose Bruce. Left with fond and loving memories of many years her companion Anthony Nolan; sister Mary Greene; brother Jack Keating (Beth McNeil); sisters-in-law Jenny and Angela Keating; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews who all had a special place in her heart; sisters- in-law Dorann Murphy, Elizabeth and Pad Hickey, Margaret and Wilfred Sanford, Laura Nolan and Annie Nolan. Special thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Lion's Manor Nursing Home for the tender care and kindness during her stay there. To Mercedes Hann and Carrie Berkstein, her roommates, for their friendship. To all the Doctors and Staff at Placentia Health Centre and Health Sciences 5th Floor for their care.
