It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kaye Graham, 89, formerly of Dominion, on Sunday, March 29, 2009.
Kaye spent the past five years under the excellent care of MacGillivary Guest Home in Sydney.
A life long resident of Kings Road, Dominion, Kaye was a daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Laffin) Graham. Kay was employed as an executive secretary for many years by the Dominion Coal Company and Devco, retiring in 1984 after 45 years service. She was well known for her kindness and generosity, spending many years doing volunteer work with Immaculate aConception parish in Dominion and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Kaye was predeceased by her sister, Sr. Helen Graham, CND.
She is survived by bothers, Ray (Joan), Sydney and Charlie (Colleen), Glace Bay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of Kaye’s life will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Dominion. A reception will follow in the church hall.
Arrangements are under the direction of Curry’s Funeral Home in Glace Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MacGillivary Guest Home, St. Vincent de Paul Society or a charity of your choice.
