Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Pearl Bernice Chaffey at A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre, Buchans on Friday, March 27, 2009. She was 77 years of age. Predeceased by husband Reginald, parents Josiah and Elizabeth Jones, brothers Carl and Bill Jones, sister Edna Pardy and brother-in-law Gerald Hayden. Left to mourn are sons: Gary (Barbara) of Fort McMurray, AB and Terry (Bonnie) of Conception Bay South, NL; daughters: Marilyn (Dennis Fowlow) and Lorna (Pierce Carey) of Buchans. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Lorraine Hayden and Norma (Greg) Coleman of Badger, NL and ten grandchildren: Chad (Sandra) Fowlow, Brian Fowlow, Dale (Susanne) Chaffey, Terri (Andrew) Chaffey, Karen Chaffey, Terri-Lynn Chaffey, Kristya Chaffey, Janine (Aaron) Carey, Ryan (Teri) Carey, Alyssa Carey and two great-grandchildren: Fiona Fowlow and Benjamin Chaffey and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral services by Rev. Joan Antle from St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Buchans on Monday, March 30, 2009. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Buchans.
