The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2009, of Mrs. Catherine Lillian Wilson of New Dominion in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Leroy Wilson. She is the last surviving member of her family being also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Montgomery) Gillis of St. Peters Bay; sisters, Mary Ellis, Mildred Dalton, Frances Fraser; and her brothers, Lawrence Gillis and Charles Gillis. She is lovingly remembered by her nephew, Joe (Heather) Fraser and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later in St. Martin’s Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until time of the funeral. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
