The death occurred suddenly in Ontario on March 24, 2009 of Mr. Leonard V. “Len’’ Lacey, formerly of Charlottetown, age 41 years. Left to mourn are his wife Janet, infant son Liam Vincent, his mother Anna McEachern-Lacey, his sisters Cindy (Blois) Costain, Linda (Tony) Warren, Cathy Shoemaker, and Sharon Lacey (Beth Gregory). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, special uncle Father John Lacey, his mother and father-in-law Bill and Marion Boyle, and his brother-in-law John (Madelyn) Boyle. He was predeceased by his father Vincent Lacey, and his grandparents Patrick and Rita (McNally) Lacey and Joseph and Mary McEachern. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at St. Bonaventure Church, Tracadie Cross at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I., or Anderson House Shelter (P.E.I.).
