Passed peacefully away at The Winter Holme Manor in Winterton on February 10, 2008, Herbert George Howell, age 88. Predeceased by his wife Stella and daughter Norma Reid. Left with fond memories are his son David, son-in-law Mundon Reid and his wife Glennis Reid, grandson Michael Reid, granddaughter Angie Reid, great-granddaughter Ocean Hurley, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Holloway's Funeral Home in Whitbourne on Wednesday, February 13, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and from the United Church in Winterton on Thursday, February 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the United Church in Winterton on Thursday, February 14, at 2 p.m., followed by a committal service at the United Church Cemetery. Refreshments will be served at the Winter Holme Manor following the committal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
