SACKVILLE, N.B. - The death of Bernadette Cormier, age 74, wife of Camille Cormier, of Sackville occurred suddenly at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2007. She was a daughter of the late Aladdin and Genevieve (Bourque) Cormier. A mother, she loved her home and her family. Interested in people in her community, together with her husband Camille, she attended numerous community functions. She was a member of the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church and life member of the Sackville Rod and Gun Club and former member of the Sackville Lions Club. Bernadette's sudden passing has left her family deeply saddened. She will be long remembered and sadly missed by her husband Camille Cormier, Sackville, whom she married 50 years ago on July 14, 1956; two sons, Leopaul (Sheila), Moncton, and Donald (Gladys Smith), Sackville; a daughter, Joanne, Sackville; two granddaughters, Laura, Moncton and Katelyn, Sackville; a step grandson, Jason (Monica) Kaye, Sackville; three great step grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew and Lindsay; four sisters, Anida Arsenault, St. Joseph, Bernice (Yvon) Melanson, Pre d'en haut, Yvonne (Georgie) Duguay, Shippigan, and Alina LeBlanc, Dieppe; a special niece, Denise Davidsen, Edmonton, AB; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers. The remains have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Wednesday, April 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, April 26 from 9 a.m. until the time of departure to the church. The funeral service will be held at the St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca
