The death of Ian Johnson, 65, of Lindsey, Ont., occurred suddenly at his home on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009. Born in Dorchester, he was the son of the late George and Wilhelmina Johnson. Ian worked for BM in Brampton, Ont., for 38 years. He retired in December of 2007 and was thoroughly enjoying his home on the lake in Lindsey. He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Norcross of Lindsey, Ont.; and three brothers, Douglas of Lindsey, Ont., Keith and Garnet of Sackville, N.B.; one sister-in-law Margaret of Dorchester, N.B.; several nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Graeme, 1977, and Lloyd, 2002. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. His remains will be brought home in the spring to Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, N.B.
