Suddenly passed away at home in Ottawa, Wednesday, October 29th, 2008, at the age of 66. He was born May 18th, 1942 at Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Cherished husband of Joyce (nee Atkinson). Proud father of Deborah (Bastians), Ron Jr., and Dawn (Barnett). Devoted grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A private memorial will be held in Ottawa this week. For those wishing, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to Saint-Vincent hospital or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
