JOLICURE, N.B. - Verna L. Feindel, age 94, of Jolicure, formerly of Lunenburg/Northwest, N.S., passed away peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville on Monday, March 12, 2007. Born in Northwest, NS, she was a daughter of the late William and Pearl (Rafuse) Veneau. She will be sadly missed by a son Wayne, Dorchester; a daughter, Cheryl Feindel, Saint John; four grandchildren, Kirk, Amanda, Kara and Gillianne; three great grandchildren, Ezra, Janaea and Naiya; relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Carroll and is the last surviving member of a family of nine. RCAF stations Goose Bay Greenwood, Moncton, and Downsview enriched a vibrant life of dinner parties, community service, and political critique. A staunch belief in God, Church and family were her foundation. So "Keep one little dream before you. It needn't be big nor bold. Keep one little dream before you and you never shall grow old." Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB (364-1300) where visitation took place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will take place at Trinity Anglican Church, Dorchester on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 10 a.m., Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Upon completion of the services in N.B., Verna will travel home to Lunenburg where visitation will take place at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Lunenburg on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at St. John's Anglican Church on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 11 a.m., Rev. Barbara Minard officiating. Burial will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
