Mrs. Verna Margaret White, age 84, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, April 17, 2007. She was born in Truro, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late William and Jessie McNutt. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Joseph White. Loving mother of Lorna White-Maxwell (Rick), Unionville, Ronald White (Brenda) Ottawa. She will be missed by her grandson Kevin White-Clarke, her brother Harry McNutt (Ethel), New Brunswick, and her sister Barbara Darroch (Howard), Atwood. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by brothers Phillip and Burton McNutt. Friends and relatives called at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, April 20, where a service to celebrate Verna's life was held at 2 p.m. A reception followed the service.
