Norma E. Clarke ADvocate harbour - Norma E. Clarke, 81, of Advocate Harbour, Cumberland County passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Advocate Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (Morris) Bennett. In her younger years, she worked at the Advocate Telephone Office. For 20 years, she worked for her sister Maurita Murphy at Advocate General Store retiring in 1983 to care for her late husband, Aldon. She was a member of the Advocate United Church. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Milbury (Eugene), Allenville; granddaughters, Tammy Field (Kenny), Advocate Harbour; Doris Collins (Chuck), Spencer's Island; grandson, Charles Gordon (Amanda), Apple River; great grandchildren; MacKenzie Field; Zachary, Autumn and Ryan Collins; Anderson Pringle; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Aldon Clarke in 1985; sisters, Maurita, Mildred, Ruby, Burnice; brothers, Reginald, Roy, Darrell, Lloyd, Charles; son-in-law, Frederick Gordon. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral service was held 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov 4, at the Advocate United Church, Rev. Sandra Riddell officiating.
