Passed peacefully away on September 10th, 2008 after a lengthy battle with Lupus, at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Alice Collins, brothers Jim and John, sisters Mary and Betty. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Minnie (Pittman) of 42 years; daughters: Irene (Duncan), Carmel, Glenda (Wayne), Kayla (Gary), and special daughter Jackie; sons: Eamon (Charlene) and Sean (Julianna); his grandchildren: Shane, Robert, Edward, Lachlun, James, Mia, Alison, Chantel and Hannah; his brother Michael, members of the Pittman family, Linehan family, special friends Gordon Linehan and Bob Carr, a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
