ROWE, Donald A. "Bumpy" - 73, of Parrsboro, Cumberland County passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late James and Eva (Canning) Rowe. Donnie was a veteran of the Korean War serving with RCEME. Following his retirement from the service in 1966, he was employed in numerous occupations throughout the area. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his wife, the former Beryl MacLeod; daughters, Dawne MacCaull (Garry), Dartmouth; Debbie Noiles (Leo), Amherst; Darlene Shirley (Mike), Parrsboro; sons, Danny (Claudina), Eastern Shore; David, Parrsboro; Darren (Janice), Trenton, Ont.; Dean (Laura), Parrsboro; a sister, Laura Clements; a brother, Jimmy Rowe; 17 grandchildren; 3 great-granddaughters; 2 step-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by step-father, John Lordon; a sister, Audrey Pratt; a brother, Raymond Canning. Private family services will be held at a later date.
