The family of Judy Goodwin, age 55, of Riverview announce with great sadness her sudden passing on Monday, December 22, 2008. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of Earl and Madge (Mason) Gagnon. A homemaker and mother, she enjoyed her baking and her kitchen. An avid reader she particularly enjoyed "Country Weekly". She was a member of the "Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish", Riverview. She enjoyed her pets and riding with Donald on his motorbike. Judy will be sadly missed by her husband of 38 years, Donald, Riverview and her daughter, Michelle (Adam Maxwell), Calgary, AB; her parents, Earl and Madge Gagnon, Amherst; four sisters, Shirley Ann (Richard) Porter, Carolyn (Michael) Ferguson, and Donna (Stephen) Lines, all of Amherst and Michelle (Gregg Johnson) Morse, Winnipeg MB ; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Steven and Mark. Judy's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Church Street, Amherst, from where a time of visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass was celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10 a.m., from Holy Family Parish, Amherst. Burial in the St. Charles - Nativity Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CACL (Bridge Workshop) would be gratefully accepted. www.furlongjones.ca
