Born in Diligent River, she was a daughter of the late John and Saddy (Hughes) Warren. She is survived by a son, William (Elaine), Mississauga; a sister, Carrie Dempsey, Springfield, Mass.; a granddaughter, Nicole. She was predeceased by her husband, Sherman; sisters, Reta, Ann, Ella. Funeral service was held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Charlotte Ross officiating. Burial in the Diligent River Anglican Cemetery.
