Robert "Bob" Alexander McKillop, age 82, of Fenwick, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Pine Ridge, NB, he was a son of the late William and Euphemia (Cail) McKillop. He was employed by Nelson's Drycleaners and Holmes Drycleaners. He enjoyed gardening and nature and was an avid jig saw puzzler. He was a member of Christ Church, Anglican Church, Amherst. Bob will be sadly missed by all lives he has touched and is survived by his loving wife Margaret; sons, David (Sharon), Robert (Debbie), Bruce (Shirley), Douglas (Anne), Kenneth (Tanya) and Ronald (Joanne); his daughters, Audrey Taylor, Elizabeth (Betty) (Roger) Boss, and Joyce (David) Carter; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd, Graham and Hugh. Bob was predeceased by a stillborn son, and by brothers, Phillip, James, Edgar, Charlie and Aubrey and by sisters, Ella, Eliza, Sophie and Sybil, and by son-in-law Richard. Bob's remains have been entrusted into the care of the Furlong Jones Funeral Home, Church Street, Amherst (667-8777) with visitation Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was held at the Furlong Jones Chapel, Amherst on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 11 am, Archdeacon Glenn Eason officiating.
