Wayne A. Doncaster, 68, of Oklahoma passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008, following a six-month battle with cancer. He was born in Brookdale, N.S., and grew up in Calais, Maine. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Mrytice Doncaster, and one brother, Guy Doncaster. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; son Leslie and his wife Wendy, all of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Julia and Abigail Doncaster of Ohio; one brother, Eric Doncaster and his wife Jenny of Brantford, Ont.; two sisters, Patricia Poitras and her husband Everett of New Hampshire, and Carol MacIntee and her husband Randall of St. Stephen, N.B.; a sister-in-law Irene Doncaster of Deep River, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews. Wayne served four years in the U.S. Navy and then worked in the printing industry for 30 years. Following his time in the printing business, he worked in real estate and had a home inspection business. Wayne loved gardening, and working around the house. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
