Wilma M. Wood PARRSBORO - Wilma M. Wood, 70, of Parrsboro passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (McLellan) Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Murray; a daughter, Brenda Wood, Amherst; three sons, Roy (Brenda), Parrsboro; Robert, Halifax; Christopher , Deep River, Ont.; a sister, Audrey Brown, Victoria, B.C.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Bruce in 1979; a sister, Betty MacKenzie; a brother in infancy. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating.
