ASHFORD, Margaret (nee Galway) –Formerly of Bell Island, NL now residing in Clarke’s Beach. Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, NL. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary (Brazil) Galway, brothers Michael (Lorraine) and Gabriel (Wilma) Galway. Left to mourn her husband John, son Paul, daughter Jodi-Lyn (Scott) Earle. Loving Grandmother to Brent, Chad, and Ian Ashford and Hayley-Lyn, Skyler and Tayler Earle. Also left to mourn are her brothers Johnny (Gloria) Galway, Raymond (Maria) Galway and Paul Galway. Loving sisters Dianna (Robert) Fitzgerald, Alice (Bill) Tatai, Eileen (Stewart) Dixon, Cynthia (Terry) Skehans and Carol Galway. Also left behind are many nieces and nephews and many good friends. Special good friend Jim Ashford (brother-in-law). Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, April 5, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island. Interment to follow in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island.
