ENGLISH, Matilda (Tillie) – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Placentia Health Care Centre, after a short battle with cancer, age 74 years. Leaving to mourn husband Steven; four sons: Cyril, Paul (Ontario), Patrick and Rodney; one daughter Jenny; seven grandchildren; special friends: Reginald Careen, Marlene Coffey, and Mrs. Gladys Careen, her workers whom she loved dearly John, Chris, Lucy, Jeannie and Joanne and close friends at Hannah and Peter’s Haven where she resided. Also, a large circle of other family and friends. Resting at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride’s. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009. Interment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride’s. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Manning’s Funeral Service, St. Bride’s.
