FLYNN, Mary Theresa (nee Jackman)– aged 80 years, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on April 2, 2009, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late William and Ellen Jackman, predeceased by brothers William, Gerard and Brian, and sister Theresa Walsh. Leaving to mourn her sad loss, her husband Nicholas of 53 years, her daughter Jane Marie Obst (Dwight), her sons Gerard (Maura), Robert, David (Rhonda); brothers: Tommy (Patsy), Arthur (Phyllis) and David (Rosemary); sisters: Betty Horton (Clary) and Connie Thomson (Archie); six grandchildren; Matthew, Nicholas and Ellen Obst, Andrew, Katherine and Daniel Flynn; sisters-in-law: Margaret O’Keefe, Essie Flynn and Mary Gio Jackman; brothers-in-law: Jack Flynn, Kevin Flynn and Tom Walsh, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the management and staff of Elizabeth Towers and the doctors and nurses of 5NA, Health Sciences Centre for their care and comfort to Mary. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Friday, April 3rd. from 2 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 4th from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 4th at 12:30 p.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
