NEVILLE, (nee Starks) Jean – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Jean (Starks) Neville on April 1, 2009 at St. Clare’s Hospital, age 88 years. She was surrounded by all of her loving and devoted family. The friendly face at Neville’s Store for many years. Predeceased by her husband Alex, daughter-in-law Ann. Left to mourn her loving children: Helen, Judy (Bob Bulger), Linda (Eugene Fisher), David (Sandra), Gerard (Dominica), and Diane (Kevin Dunphy); 14 grandchildren: Glen, Karen, Gerard, Rob, Gary, Cheryl, Suzanne, Chris, Jennifer, Stephanie, Heather, Brittany, Nicole and Kimber Jean; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Charlie (Jean) Starks, Bill (Maude) Starks and Fred (Ruby) Starks; sisters: Marie, Mary, Maisie Wilson (Gordon) and Eleanor Churchill (Robert); sisters-in-law: Mabel Starks, Olive Hamlyn; brother-in-law Bob Hamlyn, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road, Mt. Pearl. Visitation from 2-9 p.m. Thursday; 10-9 p.m. Friday and from 10-12 noon Saturday, Funeral service on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Cochrane Street United Church.
