It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Donald ‘Donnie’ Browner, 60, of Glace Bay and lived most of his life in Dominion. Donnie passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 4, 2009.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Joseph and Viiolet (Geddes) Browner.
He will be sadly missed by his sister, Betty (Greg) MacDonald, Dominion; brother, Bob (Audrey) Browner, Dartmouth, aunt and uncle, Anne and Tony McCormick, Grand Cache, Alta., as well as nephews, Bob and Rick Browner, nieces, Beth Bennett, Maureen LeBlanc and Kelly Muise.
Besides his parents, Donnie was predeceased by a brother, Alvin.
There will be no visitation or funeral service for Donnie Browner. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay. Interment will take place at a later date.
