It is with great sadness we announce the passing on Sunday, April 5, 2009 of a wonderful man, Jerome Ryan in his 84th year of Mount Pearl, (formerly of St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Bay). Gone to be reunited with his parents, Jerome and Elizabeth, his brothers, Jim, Clem, Gabe & Eddy. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 47 years Ellen (nee Hayes), daughter: Maureen MacDonald (Kirk), sons: Jerry (Paula), Shawn (Stella), Dennis (Kelly), grandchildren: Wanda, Troy, Jason, Jerry, Brandon, Adam, Dustin & Amber, great-grand children: Sean Paul & Brady, also left to rejoice in his life, brothers, Larry (Betty), Alban, sisters, Nora Andrews, Esther O’Brien & Regina Browne, sisters-in-law, Gertrude, Kathleen & Elizabeth, his pet, Snuggles and a large circle of extended family and friends. By request cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at Enright Memorial Chapel, St. Joseph’s on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Funeral will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday from St. Joseph’s Church.
