Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, April 5, 2009, Calvin Miller, age 79 years. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Miller and brother Eugene, also his mother and father-in-law John and Eliza Burt and brother-in-law Harry Burt. Leaving to mourn loving wife Anne (nee Burt); three children: Wayne (Airdrie), Linda (Gary), Robert (Bernice); also his adored grandchildren: Mikayla, Colin, Andrew, Natasha, Nicole, Jeffrey, Ryan and Katie; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth, Gladys, Lenora (Otto) and Alma; brother-in-law Albert (Florence); as well a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Hamilton Avenue with visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. from The Church of the Ascension. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
