Foote, Dolores Annette
Dolores Annette aged 68 years, of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away on Friday, April 3, 2009. Dolores was born in Moose Jaw and raised in Pasqua. She received her education in Pasqua, at Sion Academy (Moose Jaw) and earned her Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing at the Saskatchewan Training School (Valley View Centre) in 1963. Dolores’ entire career was spent at Valley View Centre where she held the position of Director of Resident Care from 1986 until her retirement in 1995. Predeceased by her mother, Veronica (Vi) (Andrews), her father, James Foote, nephew, Kent Low and much loved companion and Maureen’s father, Milford Krueger. Dolores is survived and will be forever missed by her daughter, Maureen, greatly loved son in-law, David Dolomount and “Bobba’s Boys”, grandsons, Alexander and Jared. Sisters Janet Ralph (Gordon Reekie) of Delta, BC, Linda Low (James) of Moose Jaw, nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews, Shauna Newsham (David), Abby, Cara & Leah, Kyna Draper (Derrick), Jaicee, Jaxyn & Caisia, Tara Tetreault, Aaron Low (Daniela), Louis & James Reekie. Her aunt, Victoria (Neil) Wallace, special cousins, Anne & Allan Kyle (all of Weyburn, SK) numerous cousins and friends as well as her cat Beauty. In Keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Autism Services, 609-25th St. E. Saskatoon, SK S7K 0L7 Arrangements are entrusted to Parkview Funeral Chapel.
