Of St. John’s, formerly of Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay. Passed peacefully away on April 7, 2009 at the L.A. Miller Centre, aged 81 years. Predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Corcoran); infant son Patrick J.; and parents William and Matilda. Left to mourn with warm memories are his children: Glenda (Derek Gibbons), Cynthia, Clare, William and Patrick J.K., with whom he resided; grandchildren: Derek, Jessica, Calyssa, Emma and Abby Gibbons; brother Peter; in-laws: Beatrice Casey, Loretta Edmunds (Albert) and Simon Joseph Corcoran (Martha); a large number of nieces, nephews great-nieces, great-nephews; close family friend Mary Barbara Comerford; and other family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchantRoad. Visitation Friday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Rosary 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Vigil Service on Sunday at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Monday, April 13th 12 noon. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
