Kaulback: Clyde Everette, 89, of Matlyn Drive, Onslow, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in the Colchester Regional Hospital Truro. Born in Springfield, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late Stanley and Emily Kaulback. Clyde was a veteran of World War 2 and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No.26 Truro. He was also a member of
the First Baptist Church Truro. Clyde was formerly employed with the Riversdale Lumber Company for 30 years working in the woods and with the N.S.A.C. for 17 years as a Senior Maintenance Worker. He was active working around the legion and serving suppers there for many years and volunteering his time helping the Salvation Army with their Christmas Kettle Campaigns. He is survived by step-children, Minetta (Scott) MacDonald, Eugeen Cameron, Joanne MacDonald (Greg Ettinger), Isabel (Garth) Delaney, and Darlene MacDonald; brother, Clarence (Lena) Kaulback, Salmon River; sisters, Arlene Vogel (Peter), BC; Jean Lowe (Howard), Deep Brook; Dorothy Cook (Lawrence), Springfield. He was predeceased by his first wife the former Evangeline Lantz; his second wife the former Marie MacDonald; brothers, Gordon, Arnold, Burton, Ralph; sister, Violet Charleton. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9pm, legion tribute service 7pm, Friday, April 10, and funeral service 2pm on Saturday, April 11th all in the Mattatall ~ Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, Rev. Andy Crowell officiating, with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Interment at a later date in the Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Family flowers only.
