McKEEN – William Henry
February 7, 1931 – April 5, 2009
William “Bill” McKeen, age 78 passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2009, when God was ready for one more Scottish soul and his family was ready to let go. Bill was a man who’s handshake was his word, family and friends his comfort and joy and his wife and sons his everything. Bill leaves behind his loving wife Nellie of 55 years; his son David; grandsons Brennan and Scott; daughter-in-law Connie; sisters Nel Foster, Hazel Crawford, Eva Turpin and Nora (Don) McPherson; sister-in-law Eva McKeen and family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents Sandy and Annie McKeen; his son Don and brothers Jack and Harold. The family takes comfort in knowing they were there to greet him in Heaven. Thank you to the wonderful staff in the dialysis unit of the Victoria Hospital, all of the Nurses and SCA’s who made him comfortable in his final days and a special thank you to Evelyn Harasyn for your support and comfort. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Dialysis Unit of the Victoria Hospital, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
