CORBETT, Margaret J. – 79, of Five Islands, Colchester County passed away Friday, April 3, 2009 at Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Lewis) Phinney. She is survived by daughters, Linda Corbett (Jack D’Elia), Parrsboro; Margie Corbett (Scott McCallum), Five Islands; sons, James Hodges, Saint John; Allison Corbett, Parrsboro; Jamie Corbett (Angela), Five Islands; sisters, Clara Roberts, Parrsboro; Gloria Keating, Parrsboro; Evelyn Shaw, Truro; Gwen Henderson (Mike), Parrsboro; June McPhee (Johnson), Parrsboro; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Frank; sisters, Josephine; Dorothy, Hope, Evangeline, Eva. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday [April 9, 2009] in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev.
